The resolution of the CMU on the NCMS
NCMS operates in accordance with the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (from May 7, 1998 No. 637) on the basis of Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 705 dated 12.10.94 “On the State Deposit System of Microorganism Strains” and No. 1309 dated 17.08.98 “On development of the state system of depositing strains of microorganisms”.
Deposit instructions
NCMS carries out storage, depositing, maintenance in an active state of viruses, bacteria, fungi, biological support materials – sera, tissue cultures, hybridomas, protozoa, helminth eggs, bacteriophages, plasmids, oncogenes, RNA and DNA nucleotide sequences, genetically engineered structures that are used in the production and control of immunobiological means and raw materials for their manufacture, means for deratization, insectacaricidal preparations, standard samples, as well as feed and feed additives for animals; their supply to enterprises and organizations that develop and manufacture veterinary drugs, fodder and feed additives.

1. Deposit and storage during the term of the contract (reception, registration, verification of the viability, purity and authenticity of the culture, guaranteed storage, provision of information on strain requests, issuance of a certificate of deposit) – the cost is contractual
2. Viability check and issuance of a certificate of viability: contractual depending on the verification method.
3. Issuance of a sample of a strain of a microorganism – according to calculations and an estimate for the maintenance and storage of the corresponding strain.
4. Providing information about the strain is free of charge.
5. Postal costs for sending the strain or information – at the actual cost.
6. The cost of confidential storage of culture for a certain period is contractual.
7. Provision of information on the procedure and conditions for depositing strains of microorganisms – free of charge.
8. The study of the pathogenicity (virulence) of the strain is contractual depending on the research method.
9. Lyophilization of a microorganism strain (biological material) in one process – UAH 25,960.00
