1.1 Management of the development of plans and work programs in the field of ensuring the unity of measurements.

1.2 Organization of measures to ensure the reliability of measurements of physical quantities, physical and mechanical properties and indicators of the composition of substances during scientific and technical activities using measuring equipment that belong to the sphere of legally regulated metrology.

1.3 Determination of the necessary nomenclature of measuring equipment and their use for the purpose of effective control of technological processes and characteristics of finished products (services provided).

1.4 Organization of calibration and repair of measuring equipment in the established order.

1.5 Interaction with scientific metrology centers and state enterprises that belong to the sphere of management of the central executive body, which implements state policy in the field of metrology and metrology activities, and conducts metrology activities.

1.6 Organization and participation:

– organization of scientific, scientific and practical conferences, generalization of scientific research, preparation and publication of scientific articles and recommendations;

– organization and holding of meetings, seminars, trainings, training courses on issues related to the production, storage, sale, transportation and use of veterinary immunobiological drugs and products;

– development, improvement and harmonization of the regulatory and legislative framework of Ukraine in the field of production and circulation of veterinary drugs to international standards;

– development and examination of technical conditions, regulations, standards in accordance with the functioning of TC 149;

– development, editing and publication of scientific publications, methodological recommendations, etc.;

– organization and holding of scientific and practical seminars (round tables) and conferences;

– analytical work on the results of the activity of SSCIBSM.

– provision of certification services – confirmation of compliance of the production of veterinary drugs with the requirements of good manufacturing practice (DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17065:2019 “Assessment of conformity. Requirements for bodies for certification of products, processes and services”).

– maintenance, extension, reduction, suspension and cancellation of product certification in accordance with the specified scope of accreditation;

– inspection control of certified production.

1.7 Certification of veterinary drug production processes in accordance with the declared scope of accreditation.
